The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Oyo State chapter has put every machinery in place to stage a protest in University of Ibadan on Monday, 25th April, 2016.
The protest is informed by the one-semester-rustication given to Tunji Ekpeti Michael AKA Mote, an alleged leader of the November 18th, 2015 protest over power and water scarcity in Independence Hall of the University.
While confirming the development to the UCJUI reporter, the chairman of the Association, Niniola Toheeb said it was indeed true that the protest would hold and the point of convergence was going to be the University gate by 8:00am.
As at the time of filing this report (12:20am, 25/04/2016), it is gathered that the SUG bus of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has already entered the university premises.
