Israeli man applies for restraining order against God on the grounds that God has been unfair to him in the last 3 years

Israeli man applies for restraining order against God on the grounds that God has been unfair to him in the last 3 years

An Israeli man has had his suit against God thrown out...but what prompted him to sue his creator in the first place? He claims God has been unfair to him for the last three years and told magistrates in Haifa, northern Israel, that His Holiness had 'exhibited a seriously negative attitude toward him'.

He had even reported the matter to the police but says they didn't take it seriously even though they sent patrol cars to his house.

But the ruling judge Ahsan Canaan threw the application out describing it as 'bizarre' and telling the complainant to get help.

Local media reports him as saying:
'For the past three years He started to treat me harshly and not nicely. I complained to the police many times. The Israel police asked me to take out a restraining order.'
The Haifa resident is said to have represented himself at court, but further details of his feud with the Almighty have not yet emerged.

A Times of Israel report in to the absurd court case said:
'A protocol of the hearing noted that God did not turn up for the session. But it did not specify how the court determined the Omnipresent was not in fact there, as opposed to merely exercising the right to remain silent.'

First Muslim Miss USA converts to Christianity

First Muslim Miss USA converts to Christianity

Rima Fakih was the first Muslim to win the Miss USA competition when she was crowned the winner in 2010. Now, the former beauty queen has converted to Christianity. It is believed she converted last month in preparation for her marriage in Lebanon next week to a wealthy Christian music producer, Wassim Salibi.

When she won Miss USA she admitted she only became a Muslim when she got into college. She said:
"I'd like to say I'm American first, and I am an Arab-American, I am Lebanese-American, and I am Muslim-American." According to the news site Albawaba, Fakih only connected to her Muslim roots in college.
"When I went to the University of Michigan, because there's more of a Muslim community, my dad wanted me to learn more about Islam," she said. "I didn't know much about Ramadan and other holidays, and my dad wanted me to take that opportunity and learn."

Indonesian villagers worship sex doll washed up on beach believing it to be 'angel from heaven'

Indonesian villagers worship sex doll washed up on beach believing it to be 'angel from heaven'

A fisherman named Pardin from Sulawesi in central Indonesia made an interesting discovery on one of his fishing trips. He found a sex toy. It gets even more interesting. He didn't recognize it was a sex toy so to him it became a divine gift, an 'angel from heaven'. Pardin took the partially inflated doll to his home in Kalupapi village, where it was treated with great reverence. Can't they bladdy see the hole between its legs? Lol

His mother gave the 'angel' a fresh change of clothes and new Muslim headscarf to wear every day and pictures showed it sitting up in a chair and accompanying locals on a boat trip.

News spread like wildfire and soon locals were caught up in the frenzy.

The discovery in March came a day after a solar eclipse swept across the area, a deeply spiritual experience in the world's most populous Muslim-majority country.

This led superstitious locals to believe the two events were linked.

Police decided to investigate after becoming concerned the increasing excitement about the 'angel' could lead to unrest – and soon punctured the theory.

'We were hearing many stories, such as that the "fallen angel" was crying when she was discovered,' said police chief Heru Pramukarno.
'When our officers arrived they saw that the "fallen angel" was just a doll, it was a sex toy.'
The problem, it seemed, was the remoteness of Kalupapi.

'They have no Internet, they don't know what a sex toy is.'

After investigating, officers confiscated the doll and took it to the local police station, a move they said was intended to stop false rumours from spreading.
