Nigeria today, 17th of April, won the third place in the ongoing African
Women Beach Volleyball 2016 Olympics Qualifiers at the Jabi lakeside in
Abuja.
The Nigerian teams 1 and 2 will now only participate in the Women Beach Volleyball World Championship after failing to qualify for the Olympic Games.
The final Beach Volleyball Olympics Qualifiers began on Thursday and ends today.
The winners from the qualifying series will go to the Olympics, while the second-placed and third-placed teams qualify for the World Cup and World Championship respectively. The 2016 Olympic Games will hold in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from Aug. 5 to Aug. 21.
